Korean is the native language for about 81 million people, mostly of Korean descent.It is the national language of both South Korea and North Korea. In the south, the language is known as Hangugeo and in the north, it is known as Chosŏnŏ .Since the turn of the 21st century, aspects of Korean popular culture have spread to other countries through globalization and cultural exports.

At Agojo we Korean language is thought to enhance the international languages for the students and to be able easily facilitate student exchange programs or eminent opportunities for students to study in South Korea in future. It improves social cohesion between the students and the South Korean visitors who normally come to visit the students from time to time and it improves the international relation between Uganda and South Korea

Language skills enhance cultural diversity and Management of social issues, it also promotes societies growth and perception about other societies partaining cultural differences and practices.
